If it's bigger than your head.

When creating this blog I had to stop and ask myself… WHERE DO I BEGIN? It was definitely overwhelming because I knew what site to go on to find the blog, and I knew what I wanted to talk about and that was just about it. After getting into content and discussing Content Rules by Handley & Chapman  (Shameless Plug) I found something very interesting which I would like to summarize as “Easy Killer.” What I mean by this is start slow. My motto with most of the things that happen in life would have to be “If everything were that easy, I would be a doctor.”(WHICH I AM NOT) And in this book the authors basically talk about starting slow. Find your audience and learn a little about them. Take each bite. Don’t devour the whole Damn thing. So how do you relate this fashion…(Believe me I asked the same thing.) Do you want to look like a model or just a fashionable person? What are you going to do? Go to your closet look at all of your clothes and think????? I don’t have anything. Well you might be wrong and right! Take each step towards looking good ONE STEP AT A TIME. Last time I checked I can’t make money and you can’t either so when shopping or looking at things in magazines or even looking at the mannequin for ideas. (I DO) Only buy one thing from it if you can. If the mannequin has nice socks on him BUY IT.. One step at a time and you will have a makeover before you know it. It takes time and patience. SO FUNWORK TIME!!!!! For the next week go look for one thing you can add to your wardrobe either in store or online.(Websites to my favorites below) Whether it is a scarf, hat, belt, or shirt. ADD  IT! And then work with what you have.. P.S your not a model so don’t think like one. Next time I am going to discuss fashion in another country…  If you have traveled outside of this GRAND LAND let me know things you have purchased.. UNTIL THEN TTFN!!! oooooo PPS.. Here are some sites I like to use for a little eye shopping... :)   H&M , Urban Outfitters , BR , & JCREW

  1. Cute! I love going through my closet and pairing things differently, using a belt to cinch in a flowy top, or borrow something from my boyfriend (you can work wonders with a nice button up). I like the idea of seeing a great outfit and picking ONE thing to buy, and try to make the rest out of your/your roommates stuff!

  2. I like how you related that thought to clothing and fashion. Many people when they think about dressing better think that they have to have a lot of money for new clothes or they simply try to take to much in at once and end up going nowhere as a result. Whether its in fashion or in learning something new it is important to take it slow and do what You can do at your own pace. Before you know it you will know all you ever needed to or wanted to know about social media or how to dress.
